World Dog Show & BCC of Sweden

I was very honoured to be asked to judge the Bearded Collie Club of Sweden's Speciality Show in Morokulien. From an entry of 92, I found my BIS to be Alistair's Quite The Thing and for RBIS, Heather Mist This Is My Life. Two super dogs that had everything I was looking for in a Bearded Collie.
For my CC winners I gave the dog, Beastley's Ned of Crichton and the bitch, Malandex Xpatriate, whom I have no doubt will go on and gain their Swedish titles and deservingly so.

On the 3rd of July, myself, Cath Moffat, Liz Jay, Sue Hood, Jacqui Young and Nicola Whelan, set off for the World Dog Show in Stockholm. We met up with Marilyn Baker, David Hyde, Jesper Andersson and Ann Ewart at Heathrow, with a few scary moments along the way, what with motorway closure's and the clock ticking to boarding time, however, we managed to board the plane on time and had such a superb time.
We visited the World Show on Friday and saw some super dogs from lots of continent's and saw some very good judging too.
On the Saturday, the Bearded Collie Club of Sweden, held their World Championship show, which was run like clockwork, with some very hard working comittee members. The weather was superb, beautiful blue skies and a breeze off the lake, what more could you ask for?

When we said we had the best time, we really meant it, fun fare and all.
